Christopher Abbott

With a career in film and television spanning more than a decade I have been lucky enough to bring my passion to work every day. Having had the opportunity to learn from some of my heroes and share my knowledge and experience with up-and-coming filmmakers, it was the achievement of a lifelong goal when I gained the role of Producer.

However, the call of ‘story’ became stronger and the opportunity to work as a script and story consultant was the natural next step. An unexpected opportunity to utilise my skills for gaming offered an insight into a world that was new and exciting to me. I was hooked. Having been an avid gamer since childhood, maintaining this as an adult, playing regular co-op games with my siblings to keep in contact with each other, wherever in the world life has taken us.

Initially teaching myself to code in my spare time, I found that my love of gaming was being was being matched by a new passion for the code itself. Having learnt the basics over a couple of years, I took the leap and went back to university to study Computer Games Technology to expand my knowledge and skills further and move full time into game development.
